Before you start

The setup of aqua4SAP consists of four major steps:
 
  • Activation of ICT_Service_Desk API in SAP Solution Manager
  • Creation of the sync in aqua
  • Web service client configuration in SAP
  • External service desk configuration in SAP
 
To perform the configuration, you need the following credentials:
 
  • SAP account with access to the following transactions
  • SOAMANAGER
  • SRTUTIL
  • ICTCONF
  • SM_CRM
  • aqua account with "project administrator" rights
  • A DBMS account with read-write access to the aqua database
  • Windows credentials which provide access to the aqua server
  • Credentials for the dedicated SAP account which is used by aqua4SAP to access the service desk API. This user's type must be communication
