KPI AlertsKPI Alerts are very useful to improve the overview over your project. A KPI Alert will change the look of your chart, if a certain expression is true. Thus, you will instantly see, if something important happens in your project.
If needed, click on KPI Alert to define alerts, if a specific KPI is reached. Here, add a selector, e.g. a specific status. Now select your operator of comparison, e.g greater than. Add a number. Thus, you receive an expression, like "In Progress > 3". Select the color the bar or the piece of the pie chart should have, if the expression of your KPI Alert is true. To save your alert, click on the plus button next to it.
To save your widget, click on Done. Your first chart will now be visible on your dashboard.
If you don't want to define warning colors when exceeding certain values, but just want to define the colors of the statuses in general (or whatever field you group by), you can simply create a KPI alert for each status with the logical expression >=1 and specify the desired color for this status.
Note that grouping by the status of the last execution of Test Cases automatically applies the expected colors, i.e. green for passed, red for failed, etc. ![]() To save the widget, click Done. Click the Back button to return to the general view of the dashboard. Your first diagram is now visible on the dashboard.
